Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse

Historic Cocoa Village is located in old, restored downtown Cocoa, Florida, between U.S. Hwy 1 and the Indian River, adjacent to State Road 520. Walking down the tree-lined streets, you will see a number of homes and buildings on the National Historic Register, some of them dating back to the 1880's. There are stories about early settlers from the north who in an untamed swamp area who sought a better life.

The Village is a growing, evolving community. Local Jazz and Classical musical groups entertain crowds at the Gazebo in Myrtice Tharpe Square on Brevard Avenue. There are also holiday celebrations including a New Orleans style Mardi Gras and other special events along with five Craft and Fine Art Shows during the season.
